  • Adobe Creative Cafés are community events hosted by Adobe, designed to bring together students, recent grads, and young creators. Attendees can connect and learn through workshops, talks, and activities featuring Adobe tools, guest speakers, and creative challenges.

The November 12, 2025 café included a talk by graphic artist Timothy Goodman and a live Design Sprint Challenge, where selected teams had two hours to design a concept based on Goodman’s book title: “I Always Think It’s Forever.”

THE MEMORY POND

My partner and I competed as one of a few selected design duos in Adobe NYC’s Design Sprint Challenge. Working live in front of the public, we had two hours to design a concept inspired by Timothy Goodman’s book title, “I Always Think It’s Forever.”

We interpreted the title through the lens of memory, designing an interactive pop-up gallery in Central Park where visitors could share half-forgotten memories. Artists would then illustrate these memories on the spot and add them to the gallery, creating a collaborative space where everyone could contribute and experience the evolving collection.

Our work won both the Judges’ Award (judged by industry leaders from Disney, Penguin Random House, Adobe, and Amazon) and the Audience Award. The sprint challenged us to collaborate under intense time pressure, rapidly generate ideas, and deliver a solution that resonated with both judges and viewers.
